WAKE UP!!!

“Loving” husband??? “Wonderful” childrean??? Why don’t people grow up to understand that such words appear only in fairy tales?

According to me their (parents) marriage itself is a total failure… when are they ever going to learn?

There are wonderful guys out there. That’s for sure. But being wonderful and just loving me itself is not enough to get married. These qualities are good enough for a love life or for companionship… NOT Marriage!

Marriage is like starting of a new institution. It gives you so much of hope, motivation, support and dreams (if u r lucky enough to settle down with THE one) and full of lessons to learn from. When time comes for more members to join the institution, finance would be a very good question... and would remain as a question till the new members become old and their membership expires and till they leave. When that happens, the couple can look at each other and realize that years have passed and age has caught up with them. They can sit there growing old together and thinking about all those past mistakes they have done to each other over all those years and feeling guilty of not doing what they are suppose to do… that is to really, truly love each other and cater to each others personal needs day in and day out.

And when that situation comes by, be extremely GLAD as not everyone go through this part of their lives. To take a closer look at the truth, almost half of the institutions are wound up half way or even at the very beginning itself.

The course for it???

Well, times are changing and people are not what they used to be. 50 years or 100 years ago people don’t travel that much and everyone knows everyone in their own village / city or state. Hence a situation seams to be… not bad after all. Less intervention of technology and more people skills were seen. Thus people are good in handling people. Such words like honesty, honorable, faithful, true feeling, etc have true meanings. We were given a choice to lead a good and honest life with full of faith with our “one and the only one” in our lives. Everything is so straight forward. People could actually breathe.

What is the situation now???

Practically everything around us is so high tech, leading to our people skills to rush to the lower end. E-mails are faster then snail mails – people have started to loose patience. Traveling is very common – cultural habits have been widely compromised and true identities have dimmed. Internet dating has become as common as drinking water. Anyone can love and even marry anyone without any form of restrictions. But as human beings there is only to a certain level that we can compromise to. Everyone nowadays are going around as a two faced mammal. Not that we want to, but because we have to. Relationships, friendships, reliability are all wrecked when the other side of us is seen. We can’t use the term “showing true colour” anymore. That’s because we do not have them any more. We are living a life without choices. We have to live in such a way and hence face the consequences. Every thing has become subjective nowadays. Even GOD and BELIEF is subjective. We can’t stand on either side of the fence, but on the fence itself. Making a strong decision to stand on either side of the fence without loosing something valuable is becoming more and more impossible.

It’s amazing in a way how globalization has stunk to the core of affecting the main purpose of the communicating species (humans)… which is actually to get together and reproduce and create a closely knitted bond.

People use to live a simple life, but what a hell, no use talking about the past.

Guess what I am going to decide!!!

Well I will get married…

He might not be Mr Right or Mr Cool or Mr Gentleman…

As long as he is not too nonsensical and treats me like a human being and behaves like one himself and be a responsible and matured person, it would be good enough.

People have passed comments on my ideas which I am not going to take into consideration. According to me I’m practical. His good looks or extravaganzas or materialism are not going to buy me any internal happiness if he is never going to be there for me right?

Ahhhhhhhhhh….!!!!! After 2 pages of writing a great deal, I am settling down with decisions of my “TRUE COLOUR”. Well I guess after all I’m just behaving like a human being… that’s being ever unpredictable

Bharu Kutty penning off.

The Begining

I just got myself signed up to this blog thingie. All thanks to my dear friend Wongy... a person who has played a big role in my life. She has shown me a new dimension which I’m traveling in till to this date. She is in London now and I wish her all the best in her future Endeavour.

I was actually thinking of a user name and this name came to my mind – Bharu Kutty – something my brother made up when we were young and used to call me that for a long time. Those days are unforgettable. Years have passed and he has his own family now. It’s a pity that in the name of “dedicating” his time to his family he stops allocating time for practically everyone else… be it his friends and be it his relatives. As a person who always takes extreme steps in life, this particular decision of his is not actually a surprise for me… mhhh… I should say that it’s more of a disappointment. He is not realizing that he is going to create a lonely life for his children (in the future) who would not have any cousins to play with.

Anyway that’s his life. Time would change everything.

As for me, I am now happily settled in a very cooool working environment in Singapore. My 4 year stay in Australia has taught me a great deal about life. The lessons I have learnt would be applicable in any of the countries I would travel in the future.

I think this would do for a start.

Penning off for now…

Bharu Kutty
